How much should you pay for one of these phones? The Galaxy S22 series isn’t far, so you shouldn’t pay full price. The Galaxy S21 often drops to $650 on Amazon and at select other retailers. The S21+ usually drops to around $800, and while the S21 Ultra hovered around $1,000 before, it’s she has Dropped – as low as $900. You should try not to pay more than that. However, the S21 range appears to be low in stock Everywhere. Here are the best places to find them:
Samsung usually has few sales of these devices during the year, and you can expect prices to drop again before the end of the year. Your purchase includes four months of free YouTube Premium (no ads) and six months of SiriusXM Streaming. If you trade in a compatible phone in good condition, you can get up to $600 deducted from the price of the phone. Samsung even lets you trade in cracked phones for up to $550 in credit.
Stocks on Amazon have been fluctuating lately, but there’s a chance you’ll see big discounts on these phones again soon. Amazon Do You have a trade-in program that accepts phones from more manufacturers than Samsung, but you should try to sell your old phone first to see if you get more money back. We have a guide on how to do this.
Some models are not available at Best Buy. If available, be sure to choose the unlocked model when shopping at Best Buy. You can trade in a compatible phone in good condition for a discount of up to $900. The downside is that you Should Visit a Best Buy store so an employee can check the phone you’re trading with.

Our favorite cases and accessories
Unless you want to live on the edge of a cliff, the case is necessary to protect your investment. Just know that no cover can completely prevent cracked glass if you drop your phone. However, it may be helpful to use a bag, even to prevent everyday wrinkles. Here are a few we tested and love.
Of the many cases I’ve tested, this is my favourite. It has a nice texture on the back that makes it pleasant to touch and simple design, and it flattens the bumper of the rear camera so the phone doesn’t swing around on the table too much. It’s still fairly skinny, and the bumper has decently raised the lip to keep the screen off the ground.
This case is so thin that the S21 Ultra looks oddly thin. The bumper is textured, although the back is very slippery, and does not collect dust, lint or fingerprints. You can also swap out the buttons with a pair of neon yellow (included) if you want a color accent to make it stand out. For something different, I also love Cyrill’s Floral Bags (S21, S21+).
If you hate the bulk that the case usually adds, consider Totallee. The company is known for making some of the slimmest cases. The clear silicone cases we attached will provide some drop protection, but it’s mostly to protect your device from everyday scratches. It is the choice of choice if you want to like the design of the S21.
Spigen has always offered simple and cheap bags, and the Liquid Air series is my top pick out of the variety. It’s slim, has a good grip, and doesn’t look ugly. In case you didn’t know, two sub-brands owned by Spigen are Cyrill and Caseology, our top two picks above.
Razer claims that its Thermaphene Cooling technology can quickly dissipate the heat generated by the Galaxy S21 when you are playing some heavy duty games. It’s hard to tell if this is true or not – the phone was still somewhat warm after long periods of gaming pokemon unite, But the performance has remained smooth, so maybe it helps. Either way, buy it if you’re a fan of Razer and because it’s stylish and the buttons are clickable.
S21 Ultra only supports S Pen, Samsung stylus. The stylus isn’t as feature-packed as the one on Samsung’s Note phones, but it does have pressure sensitivity and a nice tip that makes it nice for drawing and writing. Samsung has a case that comes with the S Pen ($70) and provides a way to store the stylus. It’s worth choosing if you plan on using the stylus on the go, but the casing picks up dust and lint very easily and makes the phone feel roomier.
Do you want to charge your new phone wirelessly? I like Samsung Wireless Charging Pads – they’re simple and do the job. If you have a Samsung Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch3, Active2, or Active, get a Duo or Trio to recharge it alongside the phone. We have more wireless chargers that we tested here.
New Galaxy phones do not come with a charging adapter, but they do include a USB-C to USB-C cable. If you don’t have a USB-C charging adapter, this adapter from Samsung will charge your phone at the fastest speed. This one from Nimble is another good option and includes a USB-A port along with USB-C.
Do you need a tracker to avoid losing your offline belongings? Both S21+ and S21 Ultra have Ultra Wideband technology that enables you to have accurate location tracking when using Samsung SmartTags. Connect it to anything – car keys, pet collar, backpack – and use the SmartThings app to find the exact location of the item you misplaced. It works with the regular S21 too, but only with bluetooth tracking.
