Ahsaas Channa grew up in Mumbai and was bitten by an acting bug very early in her life. She was a part of several advertisements before she took a break as a child artist in Vastu Shastra (2004). The horror movie required a young child but the directors were so impressed with Al-Ahsa that they made her play the role. She started her journey and films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) and My Friend Ganesha (2007) have taken their way. Having played the role of boys until then, she finally got the role of a girl in another horror movie called Phoonk (2008). She is a face known for her digital presence and has worked on web series such as Kota Factory, Hostel Daze, Girls Hostel and The Intern. She was also a part of the hit primetime TV show, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. Its latest show, Clutch on Dice Media, is already making waves and is India’s first esports web series released last month. TMay my whole life journey. Where were you born? your education? Childhood dreams? first job?
She was born and raised in the city of dreams – Mumbai. My sister was never interested in acting but then theater was born, and I showed interest in acting and imitating actors since I was four years old. She made my mom very eager to get me into the roles and started doing some ads. Then vastu shastra happened and changed my life. I had an extraordinary childhood but I didn’t miss anything in particular, whether it was the time I spent with my friends or the activities that could bring joy to the child in general. Class I used to complete my academic projects during my summer vacation, my professors were totally supportive of my early career choice and all my friends helped me keep up with all the studies or classes I might have missed. I completed my graduation in Psychology from Mumbai University. My childhood dream that is still alive is to become a Bollywood actor and to contribute to the industry Exceptional work. I am very happy with the way things are going for me at the moment, With interesting OTT projects and campaigns while my heart is on movies, that’s for sure Something I want to go back to. How did acting happen to you?
I loved the law All movie scenes broadcast on TV. I remembered scenes from Sholay by heart when I was 3 and a half years old. My mom noticed my love for Acting and got some auditions because she was familiar with a lot of directors as well. I did two ads and got my first movie Vastu Shastra where I played the boy. They wanted a boy for the part but were so impressed with my audition that they convinced my mom to let me play the role. Things just kept working and people really appreciated my character in the movie and that When Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and my friend Ganesha came. What projects have you done in the past and what are your future projects?
I have acted in films like Vastu shastra, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and my friend Ganesha, Phoonk and a few TV Shows like Oye jassie, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev as Child Actor. I really loved playing different roles in web series like Kota Factory, Hostel Daze, Girls Hostel, Clutch with Dice Media, The Interns, and others.
My next projects that I’m excited about and looking forward to are Kota Factory Season 02 on Netflix, U Special on Lionsgate.It’s out there and I’m looking forward to Kota Factory Season 02 on Netflix, a U special on Lionsgate and Clutch on Dice Media.
AndOur mother is also an actress. What are the conversations about working like at home?
We talk about work, we discuss movies. She is a complete inspiration to me. She is the one who taught me acting and everything about life and helped me grow in this industry. She is my biggest critic. How do you feel when you look back at the films where you played a boy?
I am so proud of her, and this trip has given me so many amazing opportunities and helped me live different characters in life that I would have known nothing about otherwise. It has added a lot to my career. I miss her but I go back and watch my movies, Laugh, have fun, and bring back all your memories.
What is the role of your dreams?
Anything that challenges me as an actor is my dream role. It’s my dream turn

I love watching movies, reading and cooking too. I would like to explore every country in Europe and experience the lifestyle there.
