Instagram is offering eligible users up to $10,000 to use News of the World for the reels feature

Running through the money! Just as the holiday season approaches, people are always looking for ways to receive some extra cash, and it seems like Instagram may have a solution. The company gives users an incentive to receive some extra cash by using their Reels feature. The Reels feature, which was introduced in August 2020, is similar to the popular app TikTok, where users can record and edit 15-second multi-track videos with new audio, effects and creative tools.

According to Tech Crunch, Instagram is offering rewards of up to $10,000 for creating Reels, a program that began in July. Maddie Corbin, who has 52,000 followers on Instagram, recently offered up to $1,000 for Reels in one month. However, not all creators seem to receive the same amount of payout. “I saw some people who had more followers than me, and they could only make $600,” Maddy told TechCrunch. It says users with fewer followers were offered $800. “I wish I knew more about how to create that. All I can think of is that it might be based on the performance of past reels,” Maddy stated.

Instagram spoke with TechCrunch about the price difference in payments saying, “We’re continuing to test payments as we roll out more creators, and expect them to fluctuate while we’re still getting started. We’ve designed rewards so we can help as many creators as possible in a way that’s attainable and profitable.” Our goal is to make rewards more personalized over time.”

Although the program was there, Instagram raised the bounty this month to keep up with TikTok, as the platform crossed 1 billion monthly active users. Several competitor platforms such as YouTube Shorts and Snapchat Spotlight have also introduced a motivational feature for users to post short content on their apps instead of TikTok.

Now that we’ve given you a summary of Instagram cashin users, here’s how to find out if your account qualifies or not! Users must be at least 18 years old and adhere to the platform’s partner monetization policies, which are a bit vague. The policy states that you must be based in an eligible country, and adhere to our Community Guidelines and content monetization policies. To see the full list, head over to the Facebook website.
