TTartisan has announced details of a new 23mm F1.4 wide-angle prime lens designed for APS-C camera systems. The lens offers a 35mm equivalent focal length available for a range of APS-C camera systems.
The manual lens consists of eight elements in six groups, including three elements with high refractive index and one element with low dispersion. It has an aperture range of F1.4 to F16, uses a 10-blade aperture diaphragm, a minimum focus distance of 20 cm (7.8 in) and uses a 43 mm front filter thread. Depending on the version of the lens mount you are using, the lens weighs between 222-225 g (8 oz). All models will measure 60 mm (2.4 in) in diameter and 40.5 mm (1.6 in) long.

Speaking of mounts, the lens will be available for Canon EOS M, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, and Sony E mount camera systems. The lens comes in two different styles: one in an all-black design and the other in black with a silver focus ring. TTartisan has not yet announced pricing or availability information.
