TTartisan has announced details of its new 28mm F5.6 lens for Leica M mount camera systems, a compact and lightweight prime lens.
The manual foundation consists of seven elements in four groups, including two high refractive index elements and one low dispersion element. Other features include a 37mm front filter thread, a minimum focus distance of 1 m (3.4 ft), and a six-blade aperture.
The lens measures 51 mm (2 in) in diameter, 19 mm (.7 in) long, and weighs 151 g (5.3 oz). TTartisan has not mentioned the cost of the lens nor the exact release date.
